Yet another shooting just went down over in Newton, Surrey2. 새벽 2시가 조금 넘은 시간에 킹 조지 대로 (King George Boulevard) 8000 블록에 있는 한 비즈니스 건물이 총격을 받았다는 신고가 접수됐대.
Just after 2 AM, there was a report of a business building being shot at in the 8000 block of King George Boulevard3. 경찰이 현장에 도착해 보니 건물 외벽이랑 유리가 총알에 맞아 파손되어 있었는데, 천만다행으로 다친 사람은 아무도 없었다고 해.
When the cops got to the scene, they found the building riddled with bullet holes, but thankfully, no one was hurt.4. 경찰 조사 결과 이번 사건도 요즘 써리 일대에서 기승을 부리고 있는 금품 갈취 협박 (Extortion) 시리즈랑 관련된 것으로 보인대.
The cops think this shooting is tied to the extortion racket hitting Surrey lately5. 가게 주인들 상대로 돈 내놓으라고 협박하고 말 안 들으면 이렇게 위협 사격을 가하는 식인 거지.
They’re basically shaking down business owners for money and opening fire if they don’t play ball6. 진짜 치사하고 무서운 수법 아니냐.
