First responders rushed to the scene and did everything they could to save the man through life-saving measures
4. 하지만 너무 안타깝게도 끝내 의식을 회복하지 못하고 현장에서 사망 판정을 받았다고 해.
But sadly, he never came back around and was pronounced dead at the scene
5. 결국 단순 사건이 아니라 중대 사건으로 전환되면서, 현재는 IHIT(통합 살인 사건 수사팀)가 전면적으로 투입돼서 수사를 진행하고 있는 상황이야.
Since things escalated to a major case, IHIT is fully stepping in to lead the investigation.

It’s crazy that this happened right here, especially since there’s a ton of foot traffic with Fraser Health’s supportive housing and the Jim Pattison outpatient center nearby.
8. 써리 경찰서의 티지 폴락(Tige Pollock) 경사는 언론 브리핑에서 “아직 수사 초기 단계이긴 하지만, 이번 사건은 불특정 다수를 향한 묻지마 범죄라기보다는 특정인들 사이의 독립적인 사건으로 보이고, 용의자는 이미 현장 주변에서 체포되어 구금된 상태”라고 밝혔어.
Sergeant Tige Pollock from the Surrey RCMP stated in a briefing that even though it is still early in the investigation this appears to be an isolated incident rather than a random attack on the public and a suspect has already been taken into custody near the scene of the crime.
