1. 수요일 저녁 퇴근길에 랭리(Langley, 밴쿠버 광역권에 위치한 도시)에서 정말 안타까운 교통사고가 발생했어.

3. 사고는 오후 5시가 채 되기 전, 264번길(264th Street) 3365번지 맞은편 도로에서 일어났어.
The crash went down just before 5 PM, right across from 3365 264th Street.
4. 랭리 연방경찰(RCMP)과 소방서, 그리고 구급대가 신고를 받고 다급하게 출동했지.

5. 현장 수습을 위해 13번 고속도로(Highway 13)의 32에비뉴와 36에비뉴 사이 구간이 완전히 통제될 정도로 상황이 무척 심각했어.
Things were so bad they had to completely block off Highway 13 between 32nd and 36th Avenues to handle the scene
6. 경찰 측 발표에 따르면, 구조 대원들이 현장에서 필사적으로 심폐소생술 등 생명을 구하기 위한 응급 조치를 시도했지만, 너무나 슬프게도 한 분은 사고 현장에서 끝내 숨을 거두셨다고 해.
The police said first responders fought hard to save them, but sadly, one person passed away at the scene.
7. 당시 도랑에는 세단 차량 한 대가 옆으로 넘어져 있었고, 정말 참혹한 현장이었다고 전해져.
A sedan was lying on its side in a ditch and they say the scene was absolutely gut-wrenching
8. 다행히 다른 부상자 한 명은 응급 헬기를 통해 로열 콜럼비안 병원(Royal Columbian Hospital, 중증 외상 환자를 다루는 대형 병원)으로 다급히 이송됐어.
Thankfully, another victim was rushed via medevac to Royal Columbian Hospital

The cops had the road blocked off for hours while they looked into exactly what caused the crash
