He ended up getting seriously hurt and was rushed to the hospital
8. 당시 경찰이 무력을 사용하려던 상황이었기 때문에, 독립수사국(IIO: 경찰의 행동과 대응을 조사하는 기관)이 공식적으로 조사에 나섰다고 해.
Since the cops were about to use force at the time, the IIO has officially stepped in to investigate the whole situation.

Thankfully, a bystander dialed 911 right away and gave a detailed description of the suspects, which helped the police nab the criminals as they made a run for it.
