3. 예전에 시모어 스트리트랑 하우 스트리트 쪽에 이 시설이 있었는데, 그때 동네 치안 안 좋아지고 범죄 늘어나서 주민들이랑 상인들 스트레스 장난 아니었잖아.
When that facility was near Seymour and Howe, it totally trashed the neighborhood’s safety, and sent crime rates through the roof, giving locals and shop owners a massive headache.
4. 그래서 결국 쫓겨나다시피 문을 닫았는데, 이번엔 헬름켄 스트리트 쪽에 세 번째로 또 짓겠다는 거야.
They were pretty much kicked out and forced to close shop, and now they’re trying to open a third spot on Helmcken Street.
5. 시장 입장에서는 “앞에 두 번이나 실패해서 동네 엉망진창 된 거 뻔히 알면서 또?” 하면서 뒷목 잡는 거지.
The Mayor is absolutely losing it because they’re doing this again despite knowing full well it failed twice and turned the area into a total mess

So the city vowed to use every trick in the book to block this facility from opening
7. 주정부가 치료 시설 늘려주겠다는 약속도 안 지키면서 이런 것만 밀어붙인다고 엄청 까고 있지.
The city is ripping into the province for railroading this while failing to deliver the promised treatment facilities
8. 근데 보건부 장관 조시 오즈본은 물러설 생각이 1도 없어.

13. 주정부가 그냥 허가만 내주고 나 몰라라 할 게 아니라, 경비랑 청소부터 전문가 지원까지 진짜 책임지고 빡세게 관리해야 동네 사람들도 안심하지 않겠어.
The province can’t just give the green light and then bail on us they need to take full responsibility for everything from security and cleanups to expert support to put the community at ease
