1. 목요일 오후에 써리(Surrey)에 있는 한 세차장에서 영화에서나 볼 법한 총격전이 터졌어.

3. 근데 경찰이 출동해서 보니까, 이 총격의 진짜 타겟이 온타리오주 헬스엔젤스(Hells Angels, 북미의 악명 높은 모터사이클 갱단) 소속인 자스윈더 바시라는 멤버였다는 썰이 돌고 있어.
Word on the street is that when the cops rolled up, it turns out the real target of the shooting was Jaswinder Basi, a Hells Angels member from Ontario.
4. 오후 2시 반쯤 총소리가 났다는 신고를 받고 경찰이 출동했는데, 현장에 가보니 세차장 건물이 총을 맞아서 파손되어 있었다고 하더라고.
Cops rushed to the scene after reports of gunshots around 2:30 PM, only to find the car wash building all shot up and damaged.
5. 게다가 총격 있고 나서 한 30분쯤 뒤에 사건 현장 근처에서 어떤 자동차가 활활 불타고 있다는 신고까지 들어왔대.
On top of that, about half an hour after the shots went off, a report came in about a car engulfed in flames near the scene.
6. 경찰은 이 불탄 차가 방금 도망친 범인들이 증거 인멸하려고 불태운 건지 빡세게 조사하는 중이야.
The police are digging deep to see if the fleeing suspects torched this car to cover their tracks.
7. 일단 단순하게 돈 뜯어내려는 목적의 범죄는 아닌 걸로 보고 있다고 해.

It looks like Bassi, who was targeted, used to be with the BC Hells Angels but moved to Ontario this year and has been bouncing between both provinces.
10. 이 사람은 해당 세차장 사장이랑 같이 다른 사업체도 운영하고 있고, 심지어 작년에는 협박 혐의로 1년 보호관찰 유죄 판결까지 받은 전적이 있는 진짜배기 갱단 멤버라네.
This guy co-runs some other businesses with the carwash owner and he’s a legit gang member who even got slapped with a year of probation for threats last year.
11. 대낮에 동네 한복판 세차장에서 이런 살벌한 일이 생기다니, 길 가다가 뜬금없이 갱단 싸움에 휘말릴까 봐 진짜 조심하고 다녀야 할 것 같아.
