4. 원래 한타바이러스는 사람끼리 전염이 잘 안 되는데, 이번 건 사람 간 전염이 가능한 안데스 변이(남미 지역에서 주로 발견되는 한타바이러스 종류)여서 좀 더 위험했거든.
Normally, Hantavirus doesn't spread between people, but this time it was the Andes variant, a type mostly found in South America, which can pass from person to person, so it was way more dangerous.
5. 세계보건기구(WHO) 발표에 따르면 이 크루즈선과 관련해서 벌써 13명이나 감염되고 3명이나 사망했을 정도로 꽤 심각한 상황이었어.

6. 캐나다인 4명이 지난달에 정부 전세기를 타고 밴쿠버 아일랜드로 돌아와서 격리 중이었거든.
Four Canadians flew back to Vancouver Island last month on a government charter flight and were under quarantine
7. 그중에 한 분이 열도 나고 두통도 생겨서 검사해 보니까 확진 판정을 받았던 거야.
One of them came down with a fever and a headache, got tested, and ended up testing positive.
8. 그래도 다행히 증상이 가벼워서 치료받고 금방 회복하셨나 봐.

10. 이 바이러스 최대 잠복기가 42일이라서, 6월 21일쯤까지는 계속 자가격리하면서 지켜볼 예정이래.
Since this virus has a max incubation period of 42 days, they'll keep self-quarantining and watching things until around June 21st
11. 더 이상 확진자 없이 무사히 다들 격리 해제됐으면 좋겠다.
