6. 게다가 2017년 선거에서 패배해서 정권이 통째로 넘어가게 된 바로 그날, 자기들 앞가림만 생각하고 테일러를 전격 해고해 버렸어.
On top of that, on the very day they lost the 2017 election and lost power, they abruptly fired Taylor to save their skins.
7. 옴부즈맨 (행정 기관의 잘못을 감시하고 조사하는 독립 기관)이 사건 보고서에서 더 이상 누구도 해고하지 말고 화해의 길을 찾으라고 경고했는데도 철저히 무시하고 꼬리 자르기를 한 거지.

8. 결국 이 억울한 사건은 법정까지 갔고, 이번 주에 대법원 판사가 전 정부한테 완전 팩트 폭력을 날렸어.

9. 정부가 대중과 언론의 쏟아지는 비판을 피하려고 힘없는 공무원을 일종의 정치적 방패막이로 악용했다면서, 테일러에게 25만 달러 (약 2억 5천만 원)의 징벌적 손해배상금을 물어주라고 판결했지.
The court ordered the government to pay Taylor 250,000 dollars in punitive damages, ruling they used a helpless worker as a political shield to escape backlash from the public and the media.
10. 억울한 희생자를 만들고도 반성 없이 꼼수로 위기를 넘기려 하면 언젠가 이렇게 큰 대가를 치른다는 걸 확실히 보여준 판결이야.
