I mean that electrocution accident where twelve middle schoolers got hurt and rushed to the hospital
3. 지금 그 워터파크는 본격적인 보수 작업에 들어간 상태야.
Right now, the waterpark is undergoing some serious maintenance work.
4. 원래는 7월 하반기에 다시 문을 열려고 목표를 잡고 있는데, 아직 확실하지 않아서 지금은 티켓 판매를 아예 멈췄어.
They are aiming to reopen in late July but since nothing is set in stone they have completely stopped ticket sales for now
5. 기존에 예매했던 사람들도 전부 환불 처리해주고 있고, 언제 다시 열지, 운영 시간은 어떻게 될지 확실히 정해져야 새 티켓을 팔겠다고 하더라고.
They are issuing refunds to everyone who already booked their tickets and they won’t sell new ones until the reopening date and hours are totally set in stone.
6. 현재 TSBC (브리티시컬럼비아주 기술안전국)에서 나와서 현장 조사를 하고 있는데, 아직 구체적인 결과는 발표되지 않았어.
Right now, TSBC is on-site doing an investigation on the ground, but they haven’t dropped any concrete findings yet.
7. 워터파크 측이 안전 규정을 위반한 부분들을 전부 고치고 나면, TSBC 안전 요원들이 다시 나와서 꼼꼼하게 검사하고 서면으로 승인을 해줘야만 재개장할 수 있대.
Once the waterpark fixes all their safety violations, TSBC officers have to double-check everything and give written approval before they can reopen.
8. 아무래도 사람 목숨이 달린 문제니까 확실하게 짚고 넘어가는 거지.
Since lives are on the line, they're dotting their i's and crossing their t's.
9. 사고가 났던 원인은 “Zero-60 Raceway”라는 놀이기구 아래쪽에 있는 금속 난간에 아이들이 닿으면서 감전된 걸로 보인다고 해.
It seems the accident happened because the kids got shocked by touching a metal railing underneath the ride called Zero-60 Raceway
10. 그때 다친 아이들은 포트 코퀴틀람에 있는 미네카다 중학교 12~13살 학생들인데, 학년말 현장체험학습을 갔다가 이런 안타까운 일을 당한 거야.
The kids who got hurt were twelve- and thirteen-year-old middle schoolers from Minnekhada in Port Coquitlam, and they were on an end-of-year field trip when this terrible accident happened to them.
11. 12명 중에서 10명은 애버츠포드 병원으로 이송됐고, 현장에서 의식을 잃을 정도로 심각했던 2명은 헬기를 타고 밴쿠버에 있는 BC 어린이 병원으로 긴급 이송됐어.
Out of the twelve kids, ten were rushed to Abbotsford Hospital, while the other two, who actually passed out on site, had to be airlifted straight to BC Children’s Hospital in Vancouver.
12. 경찰 발표로는 아이들 모두 크게 다치긴 했지만 다행히 상태는 안정적이라고 하네.
According to the police, the kids got hurt pretty badly, but thankfully they’re in stable condition.
13. 사고 나고 일주일쯤 뒤에 최소 4명은 무사히 퇴원했는데, 나머지 아이들이 지금은 어떤지 아직 새로운 소식은 없는 상태야.
About a week after the accident at least four kids got discharged safely but there is still no word on how the rest of them are doing
14. 다들 후유증 없이 빨리 건강하게 회복했으면 좋겠다.
