1. 금요일 저녁에 포트무디(Port Moody, 밴쿠버 근교 도시)에 위치한 사사맛 호수(Sasamat Lake)에서 진짜 스펙터클한 일들이 줄줄이 터졌어.

2. 먼저 저녁 7시 반쯤에 벨카라 지역 공원(Belcarra Regional Park) 호수 위 산책로에서 20대 초반 남자들 한 10명 정도가 패싸움을 벌였어.
First off, around seven thirty PM, about ten guys in their early twenties got into a massive brawl on the boardwalk over the lake at Belcarra Regional Park.
3. 근데 지나가던 시민이 이 난투극을 말려보겠다고 쿨하게 끼어들었다가 그만 강냉이(치아)가 몇 개 털려버리는 안타까운 참사가 발생했지 뭐야.
But a bystander jumped in to break up the brawl, only to get a few teeth knocked out.
4. 정작 사고 친 놈들은 경찰 오기 전에 빤스런(도망) 쳐버려서, 경찰이 지금 목격자를 애타게 찾고 있는 중이야.
The troublemakers actually bailed before the cops arrived, so the police are desperately looking for witnesses.
5. 근데 어이없는 건 이게 끝이 아니라는 거야.
But the most ridiculous thing is that it didn't even stop there.
6. 같은 날 저녁에 어떤 여자는 술에 완전 떡이 돼서 경찰들한테 들려서 질질 끌려가듯 체포됐어.
Later that same evening, a completely wasted woman was literally dragged away by the cops.
7. 수영하러 갔다가 실종됐다는 남자도 있었는데 다행히 무사히 발견됐고 말이야.
There was also a guy who went missing after going for a swim, but luckily he was found safe and sound
8. 게다가 밤늦게까지 안 가고 버티던 진상 불청객들까지 경비원들이랑 경찰이 합심해서 싹 다 쫓아냈어.
On top of that, security guards and police teamed up to kick out all those unwelcome stragglers hanging around late into the night
9. 경찰 대변인 말로는 여름만 되면 이 호수에 사람이 몰려서 출동 건수가 떡상(급증)한대.
According to the police spokesperson, calls for service skyrocket at this lake as huge crowds flock here in summer.
10. 그래서 이 공원에서는 술이나 마약 같은 거 절대 용납 안 된다고 엄청 빡세게 경고하고 있어.
So they're giving a super strict warning that booze and drugs are absolutely not tolerated anywhere around this park.
11. 공원 레인저(관리인)들이랑 눈에 불을 켜고 순찰하면서 관리할 테니까 이상한 짓 하는 사람 보면 바로 신고하라고 하더라.
They said they'll keep a sharp eye out while patrolling with the park rangers, so report anyone acting sketchy right away.
12. 진짜 여름철 물가에는 별의별 빌런들이 다 모이는 거 같아.
