According to what the RCMP released on Monday, the whole situation was a complete trainwreck.

The 53-year-old Calgary driver got hit with about 1,400 dollars in fines for crazy speeding, faulty brakes and tires and defective lights, and breaking safety inspection and record-keeping rules.

On top of that, he got slapped with seven days of impound storage fees.

In the end, all the cars being hauled on the trailer were completely unloaded, and the truck and trailer got towed straight to the impound lot because of safety violations.
