3. 문을 열고 나가면 고층 아파트가 보이고, 밥 먹고 영화 보고 쇼핑할 수 있는 상업 시설이 쫙 깔렸거든.

Plus, a massive 30-story hotel is moving into the former car dealership site, complete with a huge Breka bakery, a total lifesaver for Vancouver night owls.
8. 공항에서 스카이트레인 타고 오면 밴쿠버 진입하는 첫 번째 주요 역이라서 관광객들 노리기 완전 딱이거든.
Since it’s the first major station into Vancouver on the SkyTrain from the airport, it’s a total sweet spot for targeting tourists.
9. 물론 공장 부지가 자꾸 줄어드는 걸 걱정하는 시선도 있어.

10. 게다가 역이 코앞이라 출퇴근은 완전 꿀인데, 정작 동네에 쉴 수 있는 공원이나 놀거리가 부족해서 잠만 자러 오는 베드타운(Bed Town, 도심으로 출퇴근하는 사람들의 주거지 역할을 하는 도시) 느낌이 강하다는 주민들의 아쉬운 소리도 들리나 봐.

11. 그래서 시에서는 앞으로 프레이저강(Fraser River) 쪽으로 산책로도 시원하게 뚫고 물가에서 쉴 수 있는 힐링 공간도 만들 계획이라고 해.
So the city plans to build a nice walkway down to the Fraser River and set up chill spots by the water.
12. 옛날 그 삭막했던 공장 뷰가 낭만적인 리버 뷰로 바뀌는 날이 머지않은 듯해.
