Since Reanne Gasper stepped down from this riding, new party leader Kerry-Lynne Findlay is stepping up to go head-to-head with former NDP member Pam Alexis and a few other candidates.

Since NDP candidate Alexis is a former mayor with tons of experience and a great ground game, the Conservatives are basically starting from scratch.
