Personal attacks disguised as criticism are a given, plus they get flooded with sexist hate and outfit critiques that male politicians never face.

For instance, they even make fun of Mayor Buchanan and the female councillors, lumping them together as the “menopause lounge”.

Apparently, with all this toxic mess, tons of women who wanna protect their sanity hesitate to even step foot into politics.
12. 게다가 시의회 회의가 주로 늦은 오후나 저녁에 열리는데, 이때가 딱 아이들 픽업하고 저녁밥 챙겨야 하는 시간이라 워킹맘들에겐 너무 헬난이도 스케줄인 것도 문제야.
On top of that, city council meetings usually happen late in the afternoon or evening, right when you gotta pick up the kids and get dinner on the table, making it an absolute nightmare schedule for any working mom to manage.
