Three heavy equipment business owners in Prince George slapped them with a lawsuit over fraud.
3. BC주 대법원에서 일명 마레바 인정션(Mareva injunction, 소송이 끝날 때까지 피고가 자산을 팔거나 빼돌리지 못하게 막는 강력한 법원 명령)을 내렸어.
The BC Supreme Court just slapped them with what is called a Mareva injunction.
4. 이 명령 때문에 XCMG는 소송에 걸린 캐나다 지사들 사이에서 한 달에 딱 150만 달러(약 15억 원)까지만 쓸 수 있게 묶여버렸지.
This court order basically capped XCMG at spending only 1.5 million a month across its Canadian branches named in the lawsuit
5. 게다가 나중에 판결 나올 걸 대비해서 1,000만 달러(약 100억 원)를 담보로 맡겨야 해.
On top of that, they gotta put up ten million Canadian dollars as collateral just in case the judgment drops.

8. 소송 건 사장님들 말로는, XCMG가 장비 차대번호(VIN, 차량이나 장비에 부여되는 고유 식별 번호) 판을 교묘하게 조작해서 헌 기계를 새것처럼 속여 팔았대.
The business owners suing them say that XCMG sneakily messed with the VIN plates to pass off used machines as brand-new.

10. 게다가 불량 장비를 팔아놓고 보증 수리도 안 해주고 부품도 제대로 안 줬다는 거야.
On top of selling busted gear, they stiffed them on warranty work and wouldn't even supply proper parts.
11. 거기다 BC주에서 독점으로 물건을 팔 수 있게 해준다는 계약까지 어기고 다른 경쟁 업체한테도 물건을 쓱 넘겼다지 뭐야.
To top it all off, they broke their exclusive deal in BC, and sneakily slipped gear to rival competitors.
12. 물론 XCMG 쪽에서는 “그런 적 절대 없다”며 오리발을 쫙 내밀고 있어.
Of course, XCMG is flat out denying everything, swearing up and down that it never happened.
13. 차대번호 조작 같은 건 아예 일어난 적도 없고, 소송을 건 회사들이랑 직접 거래한 적도 없다고 철벽 치는 중이야.
They are completely stonewalling them, saying VIN tampering never even happened and they never dealt directly with those companies.
14. 법원은 일단 11월 말까지 이 동결 명령을 유지하기로 했어.
The court decided to keep this freeze order in place until the end of November for now.
15. 게다가 한 달에 두 번씩 5만 달러(약 5천만 원)가 넘는 장비들 사진이랑 위치, 거래 내역까지 싹 다 법원에 보고하라고 빡세게 지시했지.
On top of that, the court came down hard, ordering them to report all equipment worth over fifty grand, including photos and locations, plus transaction history, twice a month.
