Since the trees were still full of leaves, they caught way more wind and crashed right into the power lines.
6. 버나비랑 밴쿠버가 각각 1만 5천, 7천 가구로 제일 쎄게 맞았고 포트 코퀴틀람이랑 써리도 꽤 타격을 입었어.
Burnaby and Vancouver took the hardest hit, with 15,000 and 7,000 outages each, and Port Coquitlam and Surrey took a beating.

Environment Canada didn’t issue any wind warnings, but winds apparently clocked 70 km/h near the Strait of Georgia and hit 50 in Vancouver.
9. 하필 추수감사절(Thanksgiving) 롱위켄드 연휴 시작인데 페리(여객선) 터미널까지 정전돼서 배편이 줄줄이 딜레이됐어.
Right as the Thanksgiving long weekend kicked off, the ferry terminal lost power too, leaving sailings backed up one after another.
10. 트와슨(Tsawwassen) 터미널 정전 “스노우볼”이 굴러가서 오후랑 저녁 배편들이 싹 다 지연됐고, 텍사다 섬이랑 파월 리버 가는 배는 강풍에 아예 “컷” 당했어.
The power outage at Tsawwassen terminal snowballed into massive delays for afternoon and evening sailings, while ferries to Texada Island and Powell River got totally scrapped because of the crazy winds.
11. 듀크 포인트 가는 배는 선박 문짝까지 고장 나서 스케줄이 제대로 꼬였다니까 뱃길 이용할 사람들은 단단히 마음먹어야 할 듯.
The ferry going to Duke Point even had a broken ship door, totally messing up the entire schedule, so ferry travelers better brace themselves.
