Apparently they found a guy’s body on the side of the road in Surrey’s 6100-block of 156th Street around 1 PM on Wednesday
Paramedics and cops responded to the call, but pronounced him dead right on the scene.
It’s pretty clear it was foul play instead of just a random accident, so investigators are on high alert right now.
Above all, they haven't even identified the guy, so they're pulling out all the stops to figure out who he is.
Since the case is pretty serious, IHIT took over from local police and jumped straight into a full-on investigation.
According to team spokesperson Sergeant Freda Fong, the investigation is still in its early stages, so they’re doing a thorough forensic sweep right around where the body was found.
What the cops urgently need right now is piecing together his exact timeline and movements leading up to his death, right?
So they desperately need the public to come forward with any tips.
The cops are desperately looking for anyone who passed through the 6100-block of 156th Street in Surrey between October 8th and 14th.
They urged anyone with dashcam footage or even the smallest clue to hit up IHIT by phone or email, since it could really help the case.
It honestly freaks me out and worries me that something this awful happened so close to home.
I really hope they identify him soon and the whole truth comes out so they catch whoever did this ASAP
