They caught some fishy activity on the More Rewards servers on Tuesday.
3. 이 마트가 속해 있는 패티슨 푸드 그룹(Pattison Food Group, 바이로 푸즈나 어반 페어 같은 여러 슈퍼마켓을 거느린 거대 유통 기업) 측은 그날 바로 서버 셧다운 때리고 사이버 보안 전문가 불러서 조사를 시작했다고 금요일 밤에 피해자들한테 메일을 돌렸어.
Pattison Food Group, the giant behind the store, emailed victims on Friday night saying they pulled the plug on their servers immediately and brought in cybersecurity pros to investigate.

But the kind of info that got leaked is honestly pretty damn serious.
5. 이름은 기본이고, 주소, 전화번호, 이메일, 생년월일까지 싹 다 열람됐다는 거야.
Names were just the bare minimum, and they snooped through everything from addresses, phone numbers, and emails all the way to birthdates.
6. 회사 측에서는 “비밀번호나 신용카드 번호, 결제 내역 같은 금융 정보는 무사하다”고 방어막을 치긴 하더라고.
The company tried to shield themselves by claiming that any financial info like passwords or credit card numbers and payment history was completely untouched.
7. 혹시라도 자기네를 사칭해서 인증 코드나 은행 정보, 씬 넘버(SIN, 캐나다 사회보장번호) 같은 거 물어보는 연락이 오면 절대 낚이지 말라고 신신당부를 하고 있어.
They’re urging everyone not to fall for it if someone reaches out pretending to be them asking for verification codes, banking info, or your SIN
8. 이상한 링크나 첨부파일이 오면 무조건 읽씹하고 거르라는 거지.
They basically told us to just ignore and steer clear of any sketchy links or attachments that come your way.
9. 근데 기자들이 “도대체 몇 명이나 털린 거냐”, “신용카드 정보는 진짜 안전한 거 팩트냐”고 끈질기게 캐물으니까, 그냥 앵무새처럼 기존 답변만 매크로로 돌리고 입을 꾹 닫고 있대.
When reporters kept grilling them on exactly how many got hacked and if credit cards were genuinely safe, they just parroted their canned statement and clammed right up.
