It’s totally infuriating that Premier David Eby pushed for a reckless snap election and blew through hard-earned tax dollars, but the real issue is the NDP’s own stagnant and out-of-touch mindset.
3. 당 전체가 눈치만 보면서 단기적인 꿀만 빨려다가 보수당한테 초거대 여당 자리를 프리패스로 헌납해버렸지.
The whole party just played it safe, chasing quick and easy wins, and ended up handing a supermajority to the Conservatives on a silver platter.
4. 신민당이 노동자들 위한다고 입은 엄청 털었는데, 실상은 완전 딴판이었어.
The NDP talked a big game about standing up for workers, but the reality was a completely different story.
5. 물가 잡겠다고 해놓고 제일 가난한 사람들 세금만 올렸지.
They swore they'd bring prices down, then turned around and jacked up taxes on the poorest folks.
6. 카메라 앞에서는 SOGI(학교 내 성적 지향 및 성별 정체성 교육 모델) 지지한다고 깨시민 코스프레 하더니, 뒤로는 그거 만든 단체 지원금을 싹둑 잘라버렸어.
They totally virtue-signaled about supporting SOGI right in front of the cameras, but behind closed doors, they slashed funding for the group that created it.
7. 심지어 동네 1차 병원 지원금도 끊으려고 각 재고 있었고.
They were even looking to pull the plug on funding for local primary care clinics.
8. 녹색당 대표 말마따나 “선거철에만 달달한 떡밥 던지고 수거는 안 하는 정당” 그 자체였던 거지.
Just like the Green Party leader said, they were literally the party that dangles sweet bait during election season and never actually delivers on it.
9. 이거 완전 미국 민주당 썩은 물들 보는 느낌 쎄하게 오지 않아?
Doesn't this totally give you bad vibes like watching those corrupt US Democrats?
10. 초고소득자나 다국적 기업한테 세금 제대로 걷어서 서민들 숨통 트이게 해줄 생각은 1도 안 하잖아.
They don’t even bother properly taxing the ultra-rich or massive corporations to give regular folks some breathing room
11. 상위 1% 초부자들한테 세금 좀 더 걷어서 새로운 구간 만들었으면 나머지 99%는 살 맛 나고 주정부 적자도 메웠을 텐데 말이야.
If they’d taxed the top one percent more and created a new tax bracket, the other ninety-nine percent could’ve breathed easy, and it would’ve wiped out the provincial deficit.
12. 결국 빡친 BC주 서민들이 세금 폭탄 피하려고 보수당 찍은 거지 뭐.
In the end, pissed-off regular folks in BC voted Conservative just to dodge a tax bomb.
13. 솔직히 지금 물가 잡는 쪽으로 폼 제일 좋은 건 녹색당이야.
Honestly, the Greens are killing it when it comes to tackling living costs.
14. 신민당 윗선들 이번 선거로 뚝배기 좀 깨졌으면 제발 정신 차리고, 초심으로 돌아가서 서민들부터 챙겼으면 좋겠다.
I hope the NDP brass wake up after getting their butts kicked in this election, go back to their roots and start looking out for regular folks.
